Accessing Skills for Life qualifications
Supporting your staff to obtain a Literacy or Numeracy qualification is free due to the Governments commitment to ensuring that every individual in the UK has the skills necessary to live and work effectively. ESOL for Work
ESOL for Work is designed to meet the immediate English language needs of individuals in employment but who do not necessarily intend to become citizens of the UK. It is a shorter and more work focussed course than the full Skills for Life ESOL qualification. With qualifications available at Entry Level 3 or Level 1, ESOL for Work is not designed to meet the needs of learners with little or no knowledge of English but the course does allow learners to rapidly advance their understanding of English with a course focussed upon Working in England.
